Women Fake Orgasm oOder for Couples Not Having an Affair

A survey conducted in cooperation with Cosmopolitan AskMen reveals, 70 percent of women fake orgasms. There are several reasons women fake climax during sex, of whom want a happy couple, not in the mood or feel pain.

However, a recent study reveals another reason why women fake orgasm. The answer is quite surprising, that is to keep her husband faithful.

"One particular reason that emerges from many studies is 'to keep my partner still interested in the relationship', or 'to prevent him from switching or leaving the relationship because the other woman'," explained Dr. Farnaz Kaighobadi, researcher and author of the study from Columbia University, New York City, as quoted by CBS News from Live Science.

The researchers surveyed 453 women in the southeastern United States, which has long been a love affair. They found as much as 54 percent of women claim to fake orgasm. More profound study showed that women who think their partner has the potential possibility to turn, reported more frequently tend to fake orgasm.

"Pretending orgasm may be part of her strategy to maintain their intimate relationship," added Farnaz.

According to Farnaz, fake orgasm to make each pair remain faithful is part of how humans evolved and adapted. Previous studies revealed, when a woman orgasms, her body could sustain sperm in order to get the child.

The theory of evolution is the assumption that later gave birth to fake orgasm, may help women hold sperm from men with good genes; gave him a greater chance of having healthy children.

In essence, women fake orgasms to signal to her partner that "I'm Love With You," in the hope he can make the man more committed.

"Manipulation of commitment is more often done when the risk of turning away from their partner is higher," lid Farnaz.
