Growth Twins in Uterus Fast Same with Baby Single

There is supposition that twins experienced slower growth in the womb rather than a single baby. But this assumption was wrong, because the development of twins in the womb is the same.

Twins are assumed to grow more slowly so that the trigger of miscarriage. But the researchers found growing as fast as a single infant twins in the womb.

The team of researchers from the University of Nottingham's School of Clinical Sciences analyzed the growth of 247 infants and 264 single twins are produced through in vitro fertilization in the uterus.

Researchers measured the length growth of the baby over the head to the buttocks in the first 12 weeks later during childbirth. This is to prove whether the assumption of slow growth in early pregnancy miscarriage risk.

Our results indicate that the embryo twins actually grow at the same level as a single embryo in the early stages of pregnancy.

The study results presented at the annual meeting of the British Fertility Society in Leeds, England this suggests that further research is needed to identify which pregnancies are at risk of miscarriage.

Some things are known to be risk factors for miscarriage, such as history of subfertility (fertility-owned), levels of progesterone, the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin, which is produced during pregnancy), fetal length, how much bleeding that occurs as well as gestational age infants.
