Many Smokers Hide Bad Habits

Not everyone was willing to publicly admit that he had a habit of smoking, because studies have more than half the number of smokers keep this habit from friends and family.

A study found the social stigma and some of the smoking ban make up about 57 percent of smokers to hide his bad habits from loved ones like friends and family.

Participants involved in this study said they usually use the excuse to go walking with her dog, visiting friends or going to the store to smoke outside the home.

A poll conducted by The Co-operative Pharmacy involving 2,000 people where 1 of 12 participants was not banned smoking in his own house, as well as 4 of 5 smokers claiming to want to quit.

The people involved in this study reveals the main reason he will stop this bad habit when diagnosed with a serious illness. Another thing that will make it stop is if already a parent, and if the price of cigarettes is already very expensive.

The ban on smoking in public places could have great effect to create a stigma for smokers, but there are many smokers who keep this habit.

Caplan-Dean said some smokers sometimes claimed to have quit smoking but still smoke 1-2 cigarettes a day, even though only 1-2 bars will still be bad for health and also damage the skin and appearance.

Cigarette and the smoke is known to cause various diseases, because in the cigarette contains more than 4,000 compounds and many of which have toxic properties.

Still not easy to quit smoking, some people sometimes have to try many times and have failed. This is because of the content of cigarette smokers are addicted to addiction and difficult to make out of these addictive substances.
